History
The Baldwin Elementary School – Intermediate Center opened in August 2003. This 42,000 square foot facility is located on 95 acres at the intersection of US-Highway 56 and Bullpup Drive on the west edge of Baldwin City.
The BES-IC provides educational services to grades 3-5. It is the largest of the four elementary schools in USD #348 with an (FTE) enrollment of 225 students.
Students and staff earned the Kansas Standard of Excellence in Reading, Math, Science and Writing for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 2007, 2008, and 2009.
BES-IC is fully accredited by both QPA and NCA.
